Dave got a phone call from his friend Wendell Smith that he went to High School with while we were at Disneyland indicating that he had Friday off and if we wanted he would meet us at the Van Nuys Airport where he works. He is a Capt. on the Fire Dept. and is over the air operations.
This is Dave and Wendell. He showed us through the whole Fire Dept there. It was fun for the entire group. We really appreciate Wendell to do this on his day off. What a great experience for us, especially the boys. They all seemed to enjoy it.

Kevin wanting to take off. No, we did not get to take a ride. He would have taken Dave and I but with 11 of us and especially the kids (too much paperwork) we opted to not take him up on the ride. It would have really been sweet though.
This was our happy little group. We loved it and miss being all together. It was a great family vacation. Thanks to everyone for making it so fun and memorable! LOVE YOU GUYS.
